Are you ready to join the conversation?
Longview School District uses an online, 3-step process called Thoughtexchange to collect information and better understand the needs of our students, families and community.
Thoughtexchange is an web-based process that allows everyone in the community to share viewpoints about the decisions made in our district. The process allows us to hear ideas and priorities and give participants a chance to find out what others are saying—while keeping who made the comments private.
There are three steps to participate in:
- Share – answer open-ended questions about education in our schools. The time frame for this step is about 10 days. Your participation is at your pace, and may take 5 to 10 minutes of your time.
- Star – review ideas from other stakeholders and star the ideas you like best. Again, the window to participate is about 10 days.
- Discover – learn what is important to the community as a whole.
Be watching for our next Thoughtexchange process. We encourage you to provide your viewpoints. Your input will make a difference as we move forward with our improvements and as we prepare for the future by developing a long-range facilities plan.
