R. A. Long graduate Kelsey Craft, spent the day at her alma mater Sept. 15 talking with students about her accomplishment as Miss International 2017 and her pursuits in the medical field.
A member of the Class of 2009, Kelsey had advice and insights for students as she visited Career Technical classes, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) students, and large and small groups of students. She encouraged students to keep their resumes updated with experiences, honors and accomplishments, and scour for all kinds of scholarships.
Kelsey recently completed her studies as a physician assistant from Nova Southeastern University’s Fort Meyer regional campus. She is a certified nursing assistant, former CPR instructor and a graduate of the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She was crowned Miss Florida International in May and Miss International in August. As part of her reign as Miss International, The Miss International Pageant has a large community service component. Kelsey will promote the Blue Zones Project promoting healthy living.
