Tour the bond facilities online

The community is invited to go on a series of virtual tours of the facilities included in the Nov. 7, 2017, Longview School District bond request.

Facebook live tours will be offered to highlight the structural and educational issues of each of the four sites selected to be either rebuilt or renovated—

Olympic Elementary-Friday, July 28-noon

Mint Valley Elementary-Monday, July 31-noon

Part A

Part B

Northlake Elementary-Monday, July 31-1 p.m.

Broadway Preschool Center-Tuesday, August 1-noon

Supt. Dan Zorn and Board Member Richard Lord will walk viewers through the buildings, and community members will be able to see the buildings without traveling to the sites. Viewers of the tours—called Lunchtime Live with Dr. Dan Zorn—will have an opportunity to ask questions during the broadcast. The tour will also be posted on the district’s Facebook page following the event for those unable to tune in live.

“We hope our community members find this to be a convenient way to get eyes-on the buildings being considered for upgrades,” said Sandy Catt, district spokesperson.
